Marathon was asked to create a series of collectible phonecards that integrated the environment and our countries slogan "Beautiful by Nature" in an image that captured the essence of communications technology. The cards were provided in denominations of $5, $10 and $20.

Our Solution

Marathon chose to develop a tryptic, rather than three individual images. Using sculpted faces as coral reefs we created a dynamic and colourful underwater scene. For collectors, the cards were presented in a simple folder as a tryptic. The card described the communication that goes on beneath the waves by the inhabitants of the reef.
